How can I participate?

All you need is a Twitter account (and a credit card to make your donation if you are a bidder). Bid on items you are interested in by replying to the item tweet. Keep track of the auctions you’re bidding on in case you are outbid. Anyone can bid on an item and anyone can join in and post an auction. You do not need an invitation to participate. 

If I have been confirmed as the highest/winning bidder, where do I make the payment?

Donate the final auction amount to the Book Industry Charitable Foundation (BINC) here. You will need a credit card to make a donation to BINC. Then direct message the person auctioning the item and send them proof of your donation in the form of a confirmation email (or screen shot of the email from BINC).

Who are you?

We are a group of comic creators and authors who teamed up to organize this auction. However, anyone is welcome to host an auction on Twitter. Follow the hashtag #Creators4Comics to see how it works and join in!

DISCLAIMER: Every effort will be made to honor the correct highest bidder in each individual auction and, acting in good faith, each individual, organization, and commercial entity offering goods and services in return for donations to BINC as part of the #Creators4Comics auction. We will attempt to rectify any genuine errors in a timely fashion. However, auctioneers retain the right to determine the winning bid on each item offered within reasonable limits and no further correspondence will be entered into.
